The History Buff Book Store began with the private collection of founder and owner,  Tom Michaels.  For 25 years, Tom owned and operated Oceans East tackle shop in Virginia Beach.   When he sold the tackle shop and retired, Tom decided to open a book store devoted to military history with his collection of books, pictures and memorabilia to start it.
